Crafted Joinery designed and manufactured a unique, fully bespoke kitchen that blends contemporary finishes with handcrafted detailing.
The design features custom-sprayed green cabinet doors, each accented with handmade brass inserts that introduce warmth and texture. These are complemented by deep graphite base units, creating a sophisticated and balanced contrast across the space.
One highlight of the project is the floating shelf, made from a reclaimed scaffold board, stained dark to complement the green cabinetry. Integrated LED lighting beneath the shelf provides functional task lighting while adding a subtle ambient glow.
The kitchen also includes a bespoke coffee larder, crafted in beautifully grained oak interiors and fitted with custom storage, integrated lighting, and soft closing drawers. designed as both a practical feature and a visual centrepiece.
Finishing the space is a custom solid surface worktop, fabricated to exact specifications, with integrated drainage grooves for a seamless and highly practical solution around the sink area and throughout the rest of the kitchen.
Crafted Joinery were commissioned by a private residential client to design, manufacture and install a bespoke screen feature using solid American Black Walnut. The client sought a functional yet refined architectural element that would provide subtle spatial separation, while also enhancing the overall interior aesthetic.
The screen was manufactured in-house using traditional joinery techniques, ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship and durability. Each component was carefully selected, colour matched and hand-finished in Rubio Monocoat to highlight the natural character of the timber. Precision detailing, including shadow gaps, concealed fixings and soft closing mechanisms, ensures a seamless integration with the surrounding architecture.
Crafted Joinery were approached by a residential client to give their entryway an upgrade.
We manufactured and installed shaker style cabinets and a secret bookcase door. The install also included a new newel post with fluting and a decorative cap, all new spindles and handrail to be in keeping with the decorative panel moulding.
Our clients vision was to encapsulate a Victorian town house feel and the practicality of a busy everyday home. With an integrated pull out shoe rack, illuminated hanging space and the secret cupboard to house an unsightly boiler.
